It looks like a live animal. 
This panther sculpture is made by a very gifted artist. 
The work of art is made of heavy iron, it shows every detail, such as the absolute muscle tension of this impressive, wild panther. 
The head has lost some of its patina over the years from touching it.
As with other living wild animals, whether it’s a panther, cougar, jaguar or leopard, this strongly modelled cat exudes a mysterious magic. 

This is an impressive sculpture and unparalleled in its beauty. 
The shiny bronze surface re-emphasises the tension!
