Les Immateriaux  Centre Pompidou 1985

“Les Immateriaux” was a very important event organized by the Centre Pompidou in 1985. It took two years to plan and was the most expensive exhibition organized by the Centre Pompidou up until then. Visitors navigated through a labyrinth of metal screens and were to wear headphones that picked up different radio frequencies as they moved on. The exhibition was organized by Jean-François Lyotard and was considered as a manifesto of post-modernism. 
A very important document. This is the complete original 1985 two volume set of the catalogue. As a set in this condition it is rather rare. The volumes are near mint and have not been read more than once.
