The BMW E23 is the first generation of the BMW 7 series luxury cars and was produced from 1977 to 1987. It was built with a 4-door saloon body with a 6-cylinder engine, to replace the BMW E3 saloons. A turbocharged 6-cylinder engine was available from 1983 to 1986. 

The E23 introduced a lot of electronic devices for the first time into a BMW, including an on-board computer, maintenance interval indicator, a control panel, (indicator lights to indicate system faults to the driver), a dictaphone and a complex air conditioning system. It was also the first BMW to offer anti-lock braking system (ABS) and a new front suspension design.

Very healthy body, no rust.
The paint is very nice, no colour differences.
A scratch on the windscreen (but not in front of the driver or passenger).
A genuine luxury saloon from the 80s.

The engine is very powerful equipped with a turbocharger.
