Description from the seller
General
Are you looking for a classic that not only looks stunning but also delivers performance that far surpasses the standard? This unique Triumph TR6 is a rare sight that seamlessly combines passion, character and engineering. It is a true driver’s car with a heavily upgraded engine and a carefully documented maintenance history.
Bodywork & Paint Shop
The bodywork is in a very neat and well-kept condition. The paintwork presents itself beautifully with a deep gloss and an even finish, fitting the appearance of a well-restored classic. The panels align correctly and the car makes a clean and balanced impression.
Technical
Under the hood lies the true secret of this TR6. Where the standard models stop, this Triumph clearly takes it a step further. Thanks to a range of high-quality mechanical modifications, the 2.5-liter six-cylinder delivers over 145 hp, making it considerably faster and more powerful than the original fuel-injected versions. The engine is equipped with triple Weber carburetors that provide an instant throttle response and a distinctive sound, a sharper camshaft for an improved torque curve and extra power, and a spaghetti exhaust manifold for optimal gas expulsion. In 2025, a new stainless steel sport exhaust has also been installed, delivering a deep, sporty tone without compromises on quality or durability. Technically, the car is in top condition; recently more than €4,000 of specialist maintenance was carried out at the renowned Triumph Centre in Zwaagdijk. All invoices are present and underscore the careful technical condition of the car.
INTERIOR:
The interior is well-kept and well-preserved, in keeping with the car's character. The upholstery, seats, dashboard and other interior components are in good condition and contribute to the authentic driving experience that this British roadster offers.
Documents
The car comes with a documented maintenance history. All relevant invoices, including those for the recent specialized maintenance, are present and available for inspection.
AFHALING
The Triumph TR6 is available for viewing by appointment. Further details regarding pickup and any transport options can be discussed by mutual agreement.
Other Information
Since the 1990s, this roadster has been on Swedish roads, a country known for its care of classics. During that period the car was fully restored with an eye for detail and quality. Upon request, there are additional photos and videos available showing the car driving with the engine running.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
