2 bottles of Muga 1978 Gran Reserva - 75 cl.

- 40% tempranillo, 40% garnacha, 10% mazuelo, 10% viura. Vinified in big wooden vats for 12 months and then poured to oak barrels. Aged for 48 months, 4 years. Racked 7 times, once every 6 months, using the traditional cask-to-cask Riojan method. Bottled directly from the barrel in 1984. 

93/100 Cellartracker: "Remember in many things Muga wines from 1973. The palate is lighter than you'd expect. Tasty, agile, sharp, endowed with a core of freshness and a lively acidity. It concentrates as time goes by, increasing cup by cup. It has the right proportion, polished, without any edge, with silky tannins and a sour fine".

Bought in 2015 to Muga distribution. Stored in Original Wooden Case (OWC). Extremely good storage conditions. Fully mature and therefore drinking well now, or cellar for 20-25 years.
