Harman Kardon PM-655 Vxi amplifier with
Service manual and various Harman Kardon brochures as well as all photos on CD-Rom.

Capacity: 140 watts per channel at 8 ohms (measured)

Comfortably equipped amplifier with excellent, very homogenous, pleasant sound properties, features a high-quality Phono input suitable for MM and MC.
On the front is a switch to select the desired sensitivity and capacity.
On the back is a switch to regulate the impedance as was usual in tube amplifiers.
This was necessary with tube amplifiers to use the relatively low power as efficiently as possible, but it is not necessary with thus PM-655VXI.
This nice and thick 100 watt device (factory specs) easily delivers this power.
140 watts was measured in a test published in the German AUDIO (see the last photos) in 1988.
This amplifier controls any speaker.
