Antique Italian corkscrew with open frame in solid brass, origin area: Northern Italy, period: late 1800s/early 1900s.
Beautiful wing nut handle, solid frame with internal central stopper and leather seal for bottles. Threaded shaft, wide coiled iron worm. Generally in very good condition, shows a magnificent patina, fascinating and absolutely collectable piece, reported in all texts dedicated to Italian collectable corkscrews. A beautiful piece, essential in every collection that includes the best examples of Italian manufacture of the period between the two centuries. Not easily found kept this well, it works perfectly!
Length: 16 cm; handle width: 6.5 cm.
