Special and rare Topcon rangefinder with long baseline. Serial number is A493. The measurement base is 40cm. The accompanying ocular magnifying loupe actually doubles this base. In comparison, the Leitz Fokos rangefinder has a base of only 5.5 cm! The meter is used for distance measurement. The shortest distance is 12m. Technically and cosmetically in perfect condition and in original box. It is not antique, but it is an interesting instrument from the pre-digital era. The Leitz Fokos rangefinder is shown for comparison only and is not a part of this lot.
