Chris Berens (Oss, 19 June 1976) is a Dutch painter and illustrator. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Art and Design in Den Bosch in 1999. He works in Amsterdam.

Berens uses and combines various media. All paintings are hand-painted with drawing ink, bistre, graphite, parquet lacquer and alkyd varnish on high-gloss photo paper. The whole is then glued to wooden panels with bookbinder's glue. 

Exhibitions
His work has been shown at solo exhibitions in Amsterdam, Den Bosch, Melbourne (Australia), Seattle (United States of America) and New York and at group exhibitions in Los Angeles, Miami and New York.
