      The divit, as this Turkish pen holder with ink bottle is called, was a ‘must have’ for every sophisticated inhabitant of the Ottoman Empire. Wherever you were and who you were, with this divit you were always able to write something down. 

              The reed-pen holder, about 23 cm long, 5 cm high and 1.5 cm thick, is simply decorated with stamped leaf and flower motifs. 


This Divit  would be a great decorative piece for any home,  Made of Brass.
