The case is a rugged structure of high grade aluminium. The mechanism and servo control is a Sony system.
The player's other systems include Sony's CXD2752 premium SACD decoding chip as well as Burr Brown's PCM1738 DAC chip, made expressly for SACD.
Four OPA627TN chips do I/V conversion and two OPA2604 chips are responsible for bass filtering and line output.
