Simone Sedda

A still in nice condition, beautiful, small accordion. It was built in Germany around 1900 for export (especially England). The age can be derived from the applied reeds (brass applied is mostly before 1900) and the decoration, which is reminiscent of the Jugendstil period. The instrument can still be played very well. All tones work and the bellows are closed. It is a 2-voice instrument which can be played 1-voice or 2-voice by means of sliding buttons.
Although the text on the instrument indicates that it is a chromatic model, it appears to be a diatonic copy (“in” and “out” produce a different tone).
The dimensions are 30x27x25 cm. The condition is very good considering the age. Only some small signs of wear in accordance with the age.
