The lot contains:

CD player CD17KI (in very nice condition)
Original remote control
Original user manual
Original certificate Ken Ishiwata

The CD17Ki is filed under the Premium series of Marantz and this indicates a mid or high end device. 
These devices are available in both gold colour and black. 
Designer Ken Ishiwata additionally scrutinised some of the devices, and he adjusted them where necessary to achieve even better performance than the standard version. 
 
 
In the case of the CD17Ki, the following adjustments were made:
- A fully copper-plated chassis, 
standard power supply was replace by a toroidal one,
 - A number of unspecified standard components were replaced by special 
copies selected by ear and 
- Top end cinch terminals were installed.
