The posters are overstock items from the VARA, this was sold to a private museum. When the repository moved, these posters became available.

Posters are traditionally meant to be stuck with glue. However, this is not the case with this poster. The paper of these posters has a double coating, which is quite exclusive and unusual for that time. This luxurious form of paper was sometimes used (the paper was also thicker than normal) and processed for the promotion of luxury products such as cars, and, for example, catalogues throughout the 1920s/1930s.
