The operation is intuitive and really very simple.
The built-in headphone amplifier is of very good quality.
The 1-Bit D/A converter and A/D converter can keep up very well and don’t need to hide.
The sound is excellent on all areas.
The DTC-59 ES is a device from the top line (extremely high standard) from Sony and was introduced in 1992.
The last images are scans of a test in the German STEREO at the time of introduction.
The always critical German testers awarded 2 from 3 stars, have praised the ease of use and rated the price (€2000) with "good".
The DTC-59ED has been in production without change till 1995, which is a long time in the world of audio and therefore a good sign.

The Sony is in very good condition with little or no signs of wear.
The display is immaculate and crystal clear, the lighting is beautiful.
