Theme: The Flemish heart is a characteristic piece of jewellery that was often given to the church in the context of devotion to Mary. The most important diamond in the heart of the piece symbolises Mary’s heart. The trophy alludes to the attributes of Cupid, the god of love, and symbolises love’s triumph. In the late 18th and early 19th century, children would traditionally give a Flemish heart to their mother on her birthday or on Mother’s Day. 
Material: Silver (touchstone tested)
Diamond: One old cut diamond of approx. 0.30 ct (estimated colour and clarity K/L, i3) and 52 rose cut, foil-backed diamonds. We don’t have the weight of the rose cut diamonds, which is very common in our trade with regard to rose cut diamonds.
