Silver miniature mill, measuring 5.2x3.7x6cm, on rectangular base plate decorated with a narrow embossed edge with profile, 2 standing openwork stands form the supports of an axle for a rotating mill with four sails, on top of each stands sits a dove. (A wire was applied to the mill shaft. By turning this, the mill turns and winds the string again, as with the yo-yo game), sails marked with 18-century hallmarks and on the base plate a master stamp, of later date, RS 2 = Rinze Jans Spaanstra Drachten / Wommels / Berlicum (F) / Nijehaske 1864-1896. Weight 32.5 grams. Miniscule crack stand.
