The N2521 is the most professional cassette deck from Philips ever made. The deck was modelled after the tape deck N4506 and is built like a tank with a steel chassis and a head plate with bearings. 

The N2521 contains many innovations like Post-Fading (the disc jockey exterminator), separate recording controls, headphone volume control, illuminated peak reading meters with LED distortion indication. 

The deck features illuminated tape movement indicator, a switchable FM suppression filter, mono/stereo switch, head cleaning indicator, a hydraulically damped cassette ejector.

Also connections for two microphones and headphones on the front, continuously adjustable output for line. Connections for tuner, amplifier, record player, extra recorder.

The retail price in 1977 was fl. 1199.

This copy is in top condition and has been professionally serviced in 2020 where three belts were replaced and the heads were professionally cleaned. (Service report is available).
