The Marantz 2235B is an innovative home receiver that delivers brilliant sound output. Launched in 1977, this Marantz receiver employed high-end technology that was way ahead of its time, to deliver never-before-heard sound quality with output of 35 watts per channel both at 8 ohms. Additionally, this Marantz receiver boasts a classic, old-school look which lends it a vintage appearance.
The receiver was serviced with replacement of several capacitors and general cleaning of potentiometers. The lights on the panel were replaced. The general condition is very good with almost no signs of use on the front panel and some signs of use to the cabinet, but nothing major. A rare receiver with many years of great service to give.
