Antonio Pineda (1919-2009) was a legendary Mexican designer and silversmith. He worked in the modernist, sleek style with influences from Mexican culture. The international recognition came to him when his work was exhibited in the United States in 1946 together with work by Georg Jensen. Pineda's work is very popular with collectors.

This bracelet dates from the period in which he collaborated with Los Castillo, and is dated to approx. 1962.
The model is rare, all links are different and traditionally made (not cast in series). The angled hinges are special, giving the bracelet a nice mobility. 

The condition is good, the hinge has been repaired in one place. Please view the photos. 

Marked on the clasp "Antonio Taxco, with crown", "Sterling" (970/000 silver) and a third mark that was also used by him. See the Online Encyclopedia of Silver Marks, Hallmarks and Maker’s Marks.
