Three fantastic Original paintings by Angus McBride (1931-2007) for issue 8 of Once Upon a Time magazine, published in 1969.

The paintings show Aladdin arriving at the King’s Palace with an impressive retenue, and the beautiful Princess Badroul falls in love with him at first sight.

In a far off land, the evil Magician casts spells and looses his temper when he learns of Aladdin’s good fortune.

The paintings are all incredibly bright and have never been diplayed- this is the first time they have ever been made available for public sale.

The original art was cut into several pieces by a more modern publisher reusing the artwork, but the three paintings have been rescued and still fit together.

A small amount of paint wear has occurred  but the pieces are so bright that this is hardly noticeable.

A photocopy page of the comic will be sent with the artwork.
