Entirely uncropped copy.

Established in a beautiful binding executed in the Bradel in red half-morocco at the corners, spine decorated with golden letters, a floret and gilded nets & dotted lines.

The first cover page was saved, cut out and climbed to the top.

Fresh and clean inside, some rare insignificant foxing.

Solid and decorative volume. leather a little past, surface scratches at the top at the level of the bits.

Ruy Blas is drama in five acts, composed in alexandrins, is a masterpiece of Romanticism and is among the most performed plays of the playwright.

Preceded by the important 21-page preface in which Hugo promotes the people as a problematic subject of history.
