The true Macintosh Apple enthusiast can supplement his collection with a legendary collector's item: the "iMac G3 Indigo" – including the original "Apple Pro Keyboard" & "Apple Pro Mouse (M5769)". Originally this computer was a 350 MHz model. Now it's UPGRADED with a 400 MHz motherboard. The two additional "Firewire ports" (of the 400 MHz motherboard) make this computer a perfect bridge between Vintage and Modern hardware (FYI: the original 350 MHz lacks Firewire ports). 

Apple decided to refer to this product line as the "Summer 2001" series, which refers to Summer in the Northern Hemisphere. 2021 is the twentieth anniversary of this specific model! Congratulations! You are bidding on a TIME machine.

This working iMac comes with "tons of pre-installed software", ready to use and to give you a glimp of the past!

This is an excellent opportunity for both the "Apple Fan" and the "Graphic Designer / student". In addition to being a "today" still perfectly usable "Desktop Publishing (DTP)" Computer, this "iMac" is also a true collector's item, which can be used as a design object. It gives you the best of both worlds! 

The RAM of "128 MB" is sufficient to "render" within the graphic ADOBE applications. The screen is COLOR-CALIBRATED (Adobe RGB 1998). A must for every Graphic Designer / Typographer / DTP'er - and for students at "Graphic courses".

I am a Mac user from way back in the Legacy Era. I offer Vintage Apple computers as I would buy them myself. My admiration for Steve Jobs' legacy is so great that I want the Macs I sell, to stand "the test of time". Furthermore I only sell items I have "passion" for. 

– Hardware-wise, all my sold computers are completely disassembled, cleaned – and, if necessary, repaired – in order to extend their lifespan. See pictures.

// A BRIEF HISTORY LESSON
Designed by "Jonathan Ive" – also responsible for the iPod – this computer became a true icon. The popularity of the iMac increased Apple's brand awareness and embedded the iMac into popular culture. 

After the return of "Steve Jobs" to "Apple", the colorful, distinctive and revolutionary design - revolutionized the history of the computer (it became the crown of the tech industry). The leading "MOMA museum New York" has the legendary iMac G3 in its collection for a reason. If you're making an investment … this is a good one!

The highly-desirable translucent "indigo" was a major jump forward in Apple's consumer strategy. The iMac was convection cooled, and as a result needed no internal fan, making it the quietest mac since the "Macintosh 512k". It also lacks the internal metal housing for a more TRANSLUCENT appearance. 

The dual Firewire "400" ports  are indispensable if you want to use modern equipment!

The iMac G3 350/400 Mhz also came with a sound system designed by "Harmon-Kardon" which really stood as a stand-out feature of the device. 

// MAC OS 9: SOME LOVE FOR THE CLASSICS !
Long before the current "macOS Big Sur" or even before any of the OS X systems, there was Mac OS 9. While not as aesthetically pleasing compared to current day operating systems, Mac OS 9 was sleek, super responsive and a joy to use. In fact. It still is!

This iMac comes with a clean install of "System 9.2.2". 
Thus: "plug-and-play"!

// IMPORTANT NOTES
– the iMac is extensively tested! the computer works as it should, including the nice sounding build-in "Harman Kardon" speakers. However there are some minor downsides I honestly want to mention. The internal CD-driver doesn't seem to work. A handy workaround is to use an external USB CD driver for the rare occasions you need a CD. Furthermore. There are two minor scratches on the screen – and the plastic of the Apple logo (on top) shows minor scratches as well. If these little issues bother you, please don't buy this iMac. PS. The scratches are difficult to capture on picture. That's why I try to describe the minor faults as good as I can.

– there are "normal signs of use" (which are to be expected with a device of this age). But as an experienced connoisseur I can guarantee that these items are very good condition! There is NO discoloration and there are NO cracks in the plastics (= rare). View the numerous images to make your own judgment!

– The entire "interior" of the transparent plastic has been professionally cleaned so that it is dust-free and looks brand-new!;

– A NEW pram battery is placed (this stores clock settings and other personal settings);
