Striking and extremely large men's wristwatch... elegant dress watch from the 1950s.
The "Flagship"  was then indeed the flagship of Longines... the best available at the time.

The brand Longines belongs to the Swiss second tier...similar to: Omega, Le  coultre, Tissot, Ebel, Certina etc. 

Case has a diameter of 37 mm (without the crown) x 44 mm. 
The dial is matte creme and in perfect condition, with inlaid gold brand name and logo.
Small second hand at the 6, and a beautiful stripe pattern.
The glass is as new (removed in some of the photos to prevent reflection).

The Longines manual movement has recently been serviced and has a deviation of just a few seconds very 24 hours. 
Calibre 30 L, numbered 97...meaning dated around 1955. 
The ref. no. is 6688 3 67

The brown strap is cow hide and unworn. 
Suitable for wrists to 22 cm around.
