Ca. 100-500 AD, An amazing Ancient Roman Iron Spatha sword with a long tapering, bevelled blade and a beautiful handle / hand carved reconstructed bone handle following ancient technique and design - Museum Quality item. The spatha was a key part of Roman military equipment and was used as a heavy infantry weapon, especially by the German auxiliaries. Size: L:922mm / W:68mm ; 2.12kg Good Condition.
