Compact half-frame camera from the 1970s. The Olympus PEN series is very extensive with many variants.
The EE series (Electric Eye) is characterised by the ring-shaped selenium light meter around the lens.  
This is the EE-3 with a hinged back and a hot shoe for a flash.
The lens is the D.Zuiko 1:3.5 f=28mm. It has 2 shutter speeds: 1/200 and 1/40 sec. ASA setting runs from 25-400.
In automatic mode, a suitable combination of shutter speed and aperture is automatically selected. In case of underexposure, the shutter locks.
In flash mode, the shutter speed becomes 1/40 and the aperture must be set manually. This allows a limited manual setting even without flash.
This camera has serial number 6305378. The camera still looks very neat and works well. Shutter good. The auto exposure works and in case of underexposure the shutter blocks and a "red flag" appears in the viewfinder. With the original multilingual instruction leaflet.

This camera is suitable for "street photography/Lomography" or for collectors.
