The SELMER Paris brand has been used by many well-known saxophonists such as Marcel Mule, Claude Delangle, Frederick Hemke, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Paul Desmond, Herschel Evans, Zoot Sims, Michael Brecker, Sonny Rollins and Coleman Hawkins.
The Mod. 26 was an improved version of the famous Mod. 22, and was the first saxophone produced after Selmer acquired the Adolf Sax brand.

Including the original case.

This alto saxophone is a Selmer ''model 26'' and was built in 1929. Despite its age, the saxophone is free of damage, and comes with the original case. 
The saxophone is somewhat playable, but the pads need to be replaced.
