Bavarian helmet with a point (‘spiked helmet’).  

Exact age unknown, most likely made around 1898.

Very well preserved original condition, owned by a family for a long time.

Elegant helmet made of vulcanised fibre, complete with all of the fittings in a gilded design.

Badge with the inscription ‘In Treue fest’.

Angular visor at the front.

Curved scalemail complete with both cockades.

Brown leather sweatband on the inside embossed by the manufacturer ‘Depaheg Patent.

The spike can be unscrewed.

With a beige helmet cover made of fabric and helmet box made of metal (23 x 23 x 24 cm)
