Up to your attention a beautifull wallmask made by Goldscheider and dating back to 1954.This  mask was designed by Rudolf  Knorlein and is called Frau mit Maske.It is made in ceramic and nicely hand painted.A lady has dark brown hair and the mask is acquamarina with delicate marks tone sur tone.The theater  mask was once a decorative part of these pieces,presented a tragedy or comedy  and sometimes both of them.This lady holds a tragedy -finely shaped.This mask has a mark of Goldscheider and also a sticker.It is published at the page 113 of  "50er Jahre Wandmasken" written by Horst Makus.A buyer with receive a copy of the page.The overall condition is beutifull,small traces of use.There is dark sign under glaze,made during the painting,you can find in few picutes.21 x 20 x6cm.Rare find.
