Restrike from the 19th–20th century, a silver medal with Henry III,
king of Poland and of France (1551–1589).
The obverse: a bust of the king turned right, with the inscription 'HENRICVS III D G FRANCORVM ET POL REX.'
The reverse: the king on a horse, in a Roman armor, turned left, with the inscription 'IMAGO TALIS ALEXADRI TIGRIN SVPERANTIS.'
Metal: silver Ag.
Diameter: 42.70 mm.
Weight: 32.02 g.
On the edge: 'ARGENT.'
A rarely seen medal, preserved in excellent mint condition; I recommend it.
