Rare USA M1 helmet first model.
Very rare and complete of all its parts. Fixed bale helmet with 99% original rough paint from the war. 
Very early production. Internal lot number 8 (January 1941). Original first type chinstrap.
Westinghouse Electric liner with suspension system, headband and neckband of the first type made of silver rayon fibre and snap fastening, a system that was replaced starting from 1942. The headband is beautifully preserved, the leather is still soft and all the snaps are marked "United Carr"
The washers are of the first rectangular model and are not painted. Fixed type leather liner chinstrap with small buckle for adjustment. Very rare helmet, complete and almost impossible to find in such condition.
