Zeldzame,  massieve deurstopper van meer dan honderd jaar oud.

Het personage is Samuel Pickwick. Hij was een fictief personage en de hoofdpersoon in The Pickwick Papers (1836), de eerste roman van auteur Charles Dickens. Een van de beroemdste en meest geliefde creaties van de auteur. Pickwick is een gepensioneerde succesvolle zakenman en is de oprichter en voorzitter van de Pickwick Club, een club die is opgericht om plaatsen ver van Londen te verkennen en de eigenaardige en merkwaardige fenomenen van leven daar gevonden.
Het gietijzer heeft een ongelofelijk mooi patina gekregen na al die jaren.
