Oversized Vintage Chronograph from the 40s from the special brand Pierce. An exceptionally large watch for that time with its 38 mm without crown! At the end of the 40s this watch was also used by pilots of Trans Caribbean Airways!

The watch is in very good condition considering its more than 70 years old. The case is very sleek and doesn't seem to be worn much. 
In contrast to most watches of this type the dial is also very nice, has got a beautiful patina over the years. 

Technically the movement works as it should. The movement winds smoothly and time adjustments work well. The controls of the chronograph also work excellently and it resets to starting position nicely.

The back lid has the number 5571. The Hirsch dark brown leather strap is at full length and suitable for wrists up to 19.5 cm.

Besides a beautiful vintage chronograph with history maybe also a good investment for the future? Will be carefully packaged and shipped by insured post.
