Ottoman, handwritten in Naskh script, 13 lines per page.
Complete, consists of 544 pages of thick paper.
This example has been used a lot and there are therefore the necessary traces of repair. Condition: fair.
Leather cover, original, except for the spine of the book. This indicates that the book was sewn again (by hand) at a later date.
The signature is on the last page, under surat-un-nas (see photos).
Translation of the signature: “The humble Junaid wrote this in the year 1100”.
The year 1100 AH (Anno Higri) is meant, which corresponds to 1688-1689 AD.
Dimensions 28 by 19 by 4 cm.
