If you are the type of photographer that insists on precise color in your photographs then, you need an affordable accurate color temperature meter. The Gossen Sixticolor meter reads two colors, red and blue in ambient light. You can use the Gossen Sixticolor under most ambient lighting conditions to get precise accurate color temperature readings. With most of today's digital cameras the white balance (color correction) can be manually set. The Gossen meter gives readings in kelvin temperature, the kelvin temperature can be easily adjusted and set in most of today's digital cameras manually. If you are using a film camera, the adjustments are made with the use of color correction and/or color compensating filters, designed for indoor and outdoor film. Both metering and battery check work fine. Cosmetically it is almost unmarked. The Sixticolor come with its original leather case.
