Rarely offered Akai GX255 BLACK Edition.

This band recorder has been originally ordered by Dutch provincial broadcaster in 1980’s and used in the studio, therefore it was delivered as build-in device for the studio environment and was not equipped with consumers panels (side, rear, top & bottom).  
Very nice heavy duty Akai deck with auto reverse and real-time monitoring.

It has been tested and it plays the tapes in both directions, forward and rewind works as well.
However please notice that this device has been restored and not been used in past years, so a service for optimum functionality is strongly recommended.

It has been noticed that the tape counter needs probably a new belt after all these years and the pause switch doesn’t work as it supposed to.

The depicted 2x SCOTCH tapes are included in the delivery.
