This autograph of Prince was given to me in Paris in the apartment he rented on avenue Foch, by the artist himself, in 1988 during the Lovesexy tour.
It was signed with a purple coloured ink pen (reference to Purple Rain).

I had started at the time a car rental company with driver, and we had started working for the artist and his manager (Steve Fargnoli) in 1986 for a unique concert at the Zénith in Paris. Then Sign O' The Times Tour (1987) and Lovesexy Tour (1988).
Prince had a very special relationship with France during this period and we have covered several of his private trips.

I was lucky to be very close to his manager and I got this autograph in person, when I've never seen the artist give one before, cause Gilbert Davison, in charge of his security, did not leave much room for fans to get close to the artist in public....

It is clear that Prince did not sign much during his life/career and after 1990 almost never signed anymore, period. This photo however dates from the late 80-ties.

The photo comes framed.
