Grote stalen typemachine  van het bekende Italiaanse merk Olivetti. Olivetti is een buitenbeentje. Pas in 1911 presenteert Camillo Olivetti zijn eerste schrijfmachine: de M1. Die is meteen het begin van een exponentiële groei. Die wordt bruusk onderbroken door de Eerste Wereldoorlog, wanneer de fabriek wordt opgeëist voor de productie van oorlogsmachines. Maar op de Brusselse beurs van 1920 presenteert Olivetti zijn gloednieuwe M20. Een verblindend mooie machine die lonkt met Latijnse flair en oog voor detail. In de jaren twintig volgen kleine modelaanpassingen elkaar op. Deze machine is nog helemaal compleet (op de linker shifttoets na) en werkt nog perfect. Er zit een nieuw lint op, maar de oude spoelen worden ook meegeleverd.
