Roger Broders est l'un des plus prolifiques affichistes des années 30. Il a porté l'affiche touristique à des sommets, travaillant principalement pour un unique annonceur: les chemins de fer Paris-Lyon-Méditerranée (PLM). Avec de larges aplats, une stylisation cubisante et une palette aux tons riches, il créa de véritables chefs-d'œuvre Art déco.
