In dit kavel treft u een set van 10 neolitische stenen kralen en 3 vuistbijlen aan, afkomstig uit Ghana.
De laatste foto's bij dit kavel zijn gemaakt in het Nationaal Museum te Accra én het Archeologisch museum (Universiteit van Accra). Van de kralen en vuistbijlen uit de musea wordt beschreven dat ze uit opgravingen afkomstig zijn, van de kralen hier weten we dat niet zeker.
In Ghana worden deze kralen en vuistbijlen nog gebruikt als afweer tegen magische krachten, de kralen zijn de vrouwelijke variant, de bijltjes de mannelijke. Ze horen bij elkaar! Men voegt zowel de kralen als de bijltjes toe bij het koken (!) van maaltijden, en gelooft dat ze dan een beschermende werking hebben.
Ook wordt vaak geloofd dat de 'donderstenen' worden gemaakt door een blikseminslag. Een ander verhaal is dat herders de stenen in de woestijn vinden en er handmatig een gat in boren. 
De grootste kraal weegt 266 gram, meet 77x34mm.
De andere (9) kralen wegen samen 546 gram, meten ongeveer 37x20 mm.
