This is an attractive ETERNA men's "Tank" watch dating to the 1940s. It is an early waterproof "Clamshell" case design, as can be seen in the four small screws behind the lugs, which secure the two-piece case.

The case measures 22.5x25.5mm (33.5mm lug tip to tip), and is made of steel. It is well preserved, though light scratches are evident under magnification. I believe the crown to be original.

The attractive and uncommon dial features a round second/minute register in the middle. The nicely contrasting red second hand is original, and similar types were employed by Eterna on a variety of models.

The luminous material on the dial is original, and nicely preserved, but the hands were likely re-lumed some time ago.

I do not have the tools to safely open the case, but guarantee the originality of the movement. The movement is working, but I do not know the last date of service, and would recommend one for maximum accuracy and regular wear.

The watch will be shipped with a nice, period-correct box.
