The original 1953 Crescent finely die-cast and painted metal model of the State Coronation coach, measuring 31.3cm in length and weighing 294g, modelled after the 260-year old giltwood original that was built in 1762 and has been used at every coronation since then. The original cost was a phenomenal £ 7562, which adjusted for inflation is equivalent in today´s money to US$ 4.397.000,-

This painted metal model was produced to commemorate the 1953 coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. A later version was produced in plastic for the 1977 Jubilee. 

Condition: Very good, no damages or repairs. Minor wear commensurate with age. 

This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
