Belle statue ancienne de l'ethnie Kaka (frontière nigéria / Cameroun), qui représente un esprit protecteur du lignage.

Ce type de sculptures était partie d'une société secrète du nom de Mbir qui s'en servait pour aider l'âme des défunts à quitter cette terre pour rejoindre dans l'au-delà les autres membres défunts du lignage.

Ces statues étaient cachées par la personne qui en avait la charge, dans un lieu tenu secret, près d'un autel de village
