Cette lithographie est dessinée d’après nature par l’artiste N.H Jacob elle porte la mention Litho de Bernard et Frey et est issu d’un traité d’anatomie .

Nicolas-Henri Jacob, (Paris 1782 )- est peintre, dessinateur . Il a joué un rôle pionnier dans l'art de la lithographie et l'a imposée comme un auxiliaire précieux de l'édition scientifique.
Bernard et Frey sont imprimeurs , lithographes Parisiens reconnus pour la qualité de leur travail leurs publications s’echelonnent de 1815 à 1843.
