Pour les amateurs de la rareté automobile, nous proposons cette Hommell Barquette, un projet particulier conçu pour la piste. 

Il s'agit d'une voiture de piste lancée en 1994 à côté d'une version routière appelée Berlinette, qui a été fabriquée principalement pour homologuer la version de course.

Elle est née du désir du Français de créer quelque chose de nouveau, d'excitant et de fièrement gaulois à la manière d'Alpine, Venturi, Matra et De La Chapelle.

Avec un poids de 940 kg et un moteur Peugeot 16 soupapes de 2,0 litres développant 155 chevaux (propulsion), la Barquette s'inscrit dans le droit fil du mantra de Colin Chapman, souvent repris, selon lequel la légèreté est plus importante que la puissance.

La voiture a un châssis tubulaire, des doubles triangles à l'avant et à l'arrière, une carrosserie en fibre de verre et une boîte de vitesses manuelle à 6 rapports.

Seules 52 Hommell Barquettes ont été fabriquées.

Cette Hommell Barquette est particulière pour plusieurs raisons (outre le fait que toutes les Hommell sont particulières).

La voiture est immatriculée pour la circulation routière en France.

La mécanique étant en excellent état, la distribution a été faite en 2022 et le véhicule n'a parcouru qu'une vingtaine de kilomètres depuis.
