You do not often see them, this Russian student microscope Mby-4 no. 8200061 type 8284-78, manufacture USSR (CCCP). Strikingly the absence of an objective revolver, achromatic objectives 8X and 20X must be changed manually. Magnifications 56X-300X can be achieved with eyepieces 7X, 10X and 15X.

Stable tripod, straight tube (160mm) can reach up to 90° and is equipped with excellent double coarse and fine focus buttons

Round table, specimen clamps and a provision for placing three separate diaphragms. A universal cross-over mechanism may be appropriate. Lighting consists of a hollow, flat mirror and a universal LED light (batteries included.

For transportation an ingenious steel bell with key and storage in the foot, which also makes field use possible.

The microscope is in good condition, with hardly any traces of use, the jar has some oxidation spots. The optics are clean, without scratches, the mechanical functions smooth and without play. The photomicrographs are made with this microscope and the LED light with a USB eyepiece (not included).

The microscope will be shipped well packaged.
