The Beogram 5000 is the last turntable B&O offered with a radial arm, shortly after they would move to tangential pick up arms. 
This model is a fully automatic turntable. 
As usual with Bang and Olufsen, it's super compact and has a sleek minimalistic design with high quality and beautifully finished materials. 
So with it being this pretty and compact, plus easy to operate with high sound quality, it has a high WAF! :) (Wife acceptance factor)
It has a cute light in the dustcover which lights up when the device is working or opened.

This particular item was purchased a little more than a year ago on Catawiki from the renowned seller "Beovintage".

Beovintage was B&O dealer since the sixties, and has restored and sold hundreds of B&O models. He has serviced and restored this turntable, had the MMC4 cartridge retipped by the German specialist "FJS Tonabnemer" with a new suspension, cantilever and elliptical diamond. Also the rubber belt has been replaced with a Danish import and the dustcover was replaced with a new one. 
After I aquired this turntable, I replaced the platter with a flawless one, as the one provided had scratches. 

I will include the manual and instructions which were supplied with the sale. 
Please check the photo's in this auction for the condition of the item. It's almost 40 years old, so there are small signs of use, however the overall appearance is excellent. The record player, complete with MMC40 cartridge is the only item to be sold, other than the manual, no other items are included. 

I have recently purchased another vintage turntable and even though I would love to keep this one (upgrade with an MMC2!) I need to free up our house from too many record players :) 

It's possible to pick it up in Eindhoven the Netherlands. If you prefer to have it shipped, I will secure the item with the transport screws and package it, well wrapped and secure, in a double 'courier-proof' box.
