Deutscher Maler, Grafiker & Fotograf
Seit den 1920er Jahren konstruktivistisch-bildnerische Arbeiten
im Umfeld Künstlerkreis Lászloy Maholy-Nagy, El Lissitzky,
A. Archipenko und dem Dadaisten Kurt Schwitters.
International bekannt für seine experimentellen
fotografischen Arbeiten in den Techniken Collage,
Fotogramme, Negativ-und Mehrfachbelichtungen.
Rückseitig mit Atelierstempel: kestingfoto
Handsignatur: Gerda Kesting > Gerda Müller-Kesting (1902-1996) 
war die Ehefrau des Künstlers und selber als Fotografin und
Malerin künstlerisch tätig.
Die Aufnahme entstand lt. Recherche um 1948.
Der von Gerda Kesting signierte Abzug stammt aus späterer 
Zeit nach 1970.

Der Bildtitel dort: Kameramann > sie zeigt Konstantin Kesting
den Sohn von Edmund Kesting. 
Lose auf säurefreiem Karton im Klapp-Passepartout montiert.
Gesamtmaß Karton : 32 x 50 cm
Maß-Passepartout-Ausschnitt : 21 x 29,1 cm
Maß- Gelantine-Abzug : 21,8 x 30 cm
Der Abzug und die Oberflächen sind in einem sehr guten Zustand.
Die sichtbaren Flecken und Partikel sind im Original-Negativ
vorhanden. >s. auch Abbildung im Künstlerarchiv Lempertz ! 
Provenienz des hier angebotenen Abzugs: wurde 2022 in einem
Kesting-Konvolut im Berliner Auktionshaus Historia erworben.
