If you bought the iPod nano from the Apple Online Store, you could order a laser engraving service of a custom message written on the rear surface of the iPod, that in this case was made of anodized aluminum. The majority of 2GB silver units of the iPod nano 2G were of the model MA477LL/A. This one is PA477LL/A because it is a one-off personalized unit. Nobody knows which message was engraved on it in December 2006, ordered by the original customer. This is an interesting mystery that makes this unit more special! Now, 17 years later from the release of the iPod nano 2G, you have the chance of bidding for this completely new unit, still in its sealed and never opened box. The top seal of these cases had a grey arrow that you had to pull to open the iPod when you bought it. Sometimes, this grey arrow was applied by the Apple factory slightly out of the case dimensions. This unit of iPod nano is one of these case, Apple put the grey arrow a little out of the case, so with the years the arrow has been slightly lifted in that corner due to be stored in a box, but the seal has never pulled and opened. If you examine the pictures of the top face of the case with detail, you can check that the seal has never been opened, confirming that this iPod nano 2G from 2006 is completely new and sealed.
