De spaarpot verkeert in uitstekende staat gezien zijn leeftijd, met uitzondering van een opvallende kras aan de achterkant, zoals te zien is op de foto. De afmetingen zijn ongeveer 15 cm in hoogte, 8,5 cm in breedte en 7,5 cm in diepte. Helaas ontbreekt de sleutel, en het laadje zit op slot.


Een oud spaarapparaat uit 1928, ontworpen door Jan Wiegman en verkocht bij de Bijenkorf. Het heeft een rechthoekig blik op een voetstuk met een spaargleuf,  en een la met knop eronder. Het bevat afbeeldingen van een gezin en het Droste-mannetje.
